2014 Carraro Annual Review
For the 2014 Annual Review of Carraro Group we had the chance to work with Luca Barcellona, one of the best international calligraphers, as well as our partner in Lazy Dog Press.
After a long journey where we’ve combined illustrations, photography and infographics with financial data, this year, together with our client, we’ve opted for a completely different path, and decided to experiment with typography and calligraphy.
We’ve assigned Luca Barcellona eight panels, a series of key words, and the complete freedom to represent them through eight calligraphy styles. For consistency, we’ve used a calligraphy script for all chapter openings as well as the cover title. This resulted in Carraro being represented in an unprecedented way for the industrial world that this company belongs to.
