Olimpia Zagnoli designed the illustrations for the cover art of the poetry book collection “Poesie per giovani innamorati” by Salani publishing house.

The illustrator Olimpia Zagnoli asked us to team up with her in this project. It involved the graphic and lettering redesign of the book covers from the classic poetry series by Salani publishing house.

The cover illustrations portray the book author and are characterized by the simple and stylized figures typical of Olimpia’s style. Typeset copy is set in Janson Text – a classic serif font – and is aimed at intensifying the illustrator’s style and highlighting the portraits’ visual impact.

Because beauty comes from contrast.
