Sementis – Conscious Nourishment

We asked Luca Barcellona to design the logo for Sementis. He managed to fully capture the philosophy of this restaurant, where simplicity is one of the most important features.
The focus on recycling and reusing that characterizes the furnishings and decorations also applies to the restaurant sign by Abdul Jalil. This sign painter also created the decorations inside the shop as well as the entrance sign, that keeps to the original state of the historic façade.
We wanted Sementis communication to fully mirror the restaurant’s philosophy. Menus, business cards, place cards and all the shop materials have been letterpressed together with Anonima Impressori. We used FSC-certified pulp-coloured Materica paper and cardboard by Fedrigoni.
For the menus, we designed a set of custom icons to identify vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. All copy is composed in Adobe Jenson Pro.
